Violet Class had a wonderful time at their World War II tea party earlier this week. It was great to see the variety of World War II costumes worn by the children. The day began with a great deal of preparatory baking, followed by the fantastic annual tea party with all the parents and grandparents coming along to enjoy the delicious food and conversation with the children.
Many thanks to all those parents who helped out during the day, your help was greatly appreciated!
During the tea party and afterwards, the children chatted about all their learning from the topic, and some parents and grandparents were even given a tour of the air raid shelter! The day culminated in the marvellous Lindy Hop dance. Click on the link below to enjoy the video!
