Thank you to all those parents/grandparents/carers who attended the Y5 and Y6 writing workshops this morning. We really enjoyed inviting you in to see some of the writing activities we do here at school! Photos and more information here.

Y5 and Y6 organised writing workshops this morning to show some of the writing activities we do to support children’s writing development. Activities included:

 – proof reading
 – thesaurus work
 – conjunction challenges
 – descriptive writing
 – improving sentences
 – “Write on the right, edit on the left!” activities
