Still windy but rather warmer today! Day 4 for Year 6 at Kingswood. Photos and details here.

Our penultimate day here at Kingswood was jam-packed full of fun and challenges once again! The day began with a few lunges, parries and ripostes as the children tried their hand at the somewhat difficult art of fencing. During the next session, environmental art, we welcomed Mrs Brockhurst and Mrs R-T as we helped the children to get inspired creatively with just natural materials.
After lunch, and a couple of playground games and a quick volleyball match, the children experienced the ‘high life’ once again with the rather daunting ‘High Equilibrium’. Well done to those brave souls who managed to get to the top…and balance! Violet Class also tried their hand at another sport in the afternoon, archery. The highlight of this was a rather impressive ‘bullseye’ from Scarlett; the instructor said he had never seen such an arrow hit dead centre on the apple in the bullseye!
After dinner, it was dancing all the way at the disco and then back to their rooms for a well-earned sleep!

Absolutely great to be able to visit you all today and see you really testing your confidence and collaboration skills!

Well done to all who made it to the top of Equilibrium and especially to Nathan for your amazing efforts. You really pushed yourself and what an achievement to get to the top. We loved your ‘wiggle’ of self-achievement!
Enjoy your last day everyone. A huge thank you to Mr McGreevy, Miss Johnston, Mrs Ifould and to Mrs R-T for all their support over the past few days and in being besides you all- through some very challenging tasks. We will see you all back at Walberton this afternoon!
