The children at Walberton and Binsted CE Primary School benefit from a creative approach to English, inspired by their choice of topic and learning. As well as regular adult led reading and writing activities, children have daily opportunities to record their learning through pictures and mark making.

 

nelson handwritingWell-formed letters and punctuation are encouraged.. Children are taught a print script in Year R and 1, progressing to a cursive script in Year 2, following the Nelson Handwriting Scheme.
