 OUR ECO-WARRIORS!

Welcome to our ECO-WARRIORS page!

As Eco-Warriors, we represent the school, doing our bit to encourage the school and our wider community to do more to protect and preserve our natural environment. We encourage recycling, reusing and reducing our waste – we’ve only got one planet – let’s do our best to look after it!

Hooray! We have received our Silver Eco Award. One of the ways we have done this is by involving the community. We are collecting crisp packets which our lovely governor Mrs Porter bundles up and takes them to a special recycling centre, this is weighed and money is donated to the NSPCC. So far, together with the scouts, we have raised £90. We also collect milk bottle tops for charity in partnership with the local community. Our next challenge is to gain our Green Flag award, to do this we are aiming to recycle more, reduce electricity, reduce the use of plastic and re-use paper as much as possible.
