Year 3 had great fun pretending to be from the Stone Age as they created cave paintings! We had to use natural resources and explored how we could make paint like consistencies and try to create different colours. We used soil, grass, leaves, berries, spices amongst other things!
We looked at some of the cave paintings that have been discovered in France and Spain and tried to make our own. We drew some of the animals they had back then like bison and people hunting with spears. We also tried to recreate the hand paintings that have been found in Argentina.
