A fun packed second day on the Isle of Wight! Despite the intermittent rain, the children really got “stuck in” to the fossil hunting at St. Catherine’s Point this morning. Persistence paid off as a number of fossils were uncovered, including three shark teeth! The afternoon was spent in the very knowledgeable company of Gary, our guide, who led us around the “Dinosaur Isle”

Year 6 had a great first day on the Isle of Wight. After the ferry crossing, the children really enjoyed playing some old-fashioned arcade games at Arreton Barns Craft Village. This was followed by a splendid walk down the beautiful gorge known as Shanklin Chine.  After unpacking, the children also had a great time playing some games outside in the evening sunshine in the grounds of our hotel.
