WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF MY CHILD IS DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS OF Coronavirus (COVID 19)?
Now that we are back into school we are aware of the usual bugs starting to occur e.g. colds, coughs temperatures and sickness. Although symptoms of these illnesses are not unlike COVID 19, please be cautious.
As per the DFE website :
The most important symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are the recent onset of any of the following:
– a new continuous cough
– a high temperature
– a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
For most people, COVID-19 will be a mild illness. If you are concerned or have any of these symptoms as above then stay at home and follow the DFE guidance as set out below:
Alternatively you may seek advice via telephoning NHS 111.
If you have been advised via the DFE link/NHS 111 to have a test, please inform the school and contact us immediately once these results are through.
As per our Absence Policy please always contact the school if your child is going to be absent and keep us updated.
