good to be green - Banner_blk

At Walberton and Binsted, we have adopted a positive begood to be greenhaviour system to maintain good standards of behaviour in our school and to reward our children.

We use:

good to be greenWe build on positive behaviours and reward our children for their efforts when they have behaved consistently well.

good to be greenWe ‘catch’ our children being good!

good to be greenWe have agreed upon a school code for our ‘Good To Be Green’ system.  These are displayed around our school and everyone follows the code of conduct.

good to be greenWe worked together with the children on what Green, Yellow and Red behaviours look like in our school, so they too have ownership.

good to be greenWe have many rewards which have been agreed by our staff and children together to promote good behaviours to learning.

What do our children say about our Good To Be Green system?

“Our behaviour has got even better since we started using Good to Be Green”

“It’s really nice to be told well done for always doing well..”

“I love the postcards home, it’s a lovely surprise through the letterbox!”

“We all work together to be green all the time!”
